Loughs Update - Mar 9, 2010
Dear Anglers,
It may not be easy for you to imagine when you were enjoying the glorious sunshine like yesterday that there still are snow patches on our Estate and Sweethope Loughs are still frozen!!
One week has gone since Sweethope was due to open. The edge of the lake is slowly thawing, but the majority part of lakes is still frozen. The main problem is that during the night when the temperature drops, the lakes got frozen again. As a very rough guidance for you, unless the night temperature gets above zero, there is not much one can do.
We will keep you informed when there is any definite sign that we can foresee. In the meanwhile, we are doing other things to improve our service and looking forwards to seeing you before too long.
